my song

One Step at a Time

Hurry up and wait
So close, but so far away
Everything that you’ve always dreamed of
Close enough for you to taste
But you just can’t touch

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you’re gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you’re feeling more and more frustrated
And you’re getting all kind of impatient waiting

[Chorus]
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It’s gonna happen and it’s
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time

You believe and you doubt
You’re confused, you got it all figured out
Everything that you wished for
Could be yours, should be yours, would be yours
If they only knew

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you’re gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you’re feeling more and more frustrated
And you’re getting all kind of impatient waiting

[Chorus]
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It’s gonna happen and it’s
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time

When you can’t wait any longer
But there’s no end in sight
It’s the faith that makes you stronger
The only way you get there
Is one step at a time

[Chorus]
Take one step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It’s gonna happen and it’s
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time

[Chorus]
One step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It’s gonna happen and it’s
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why

On step at a time

barkada food trip

Eating is our favorite "barkada" trip. We seldom eat on fast food chains and restaurants because our budget is not enough. We often find street foods to eat because it is not expensive but delicious. For us, it is not how expensive or cheap the food we are eating, the important thing is that we are enjoying. The place is not also a problem because as long as we are having fun our food tripping will continue. Fishball, kikiam, squidball and kalamares are the kind of street foods that we eat. For as low as P0.05 cents you can buy a piece of it. Our drinks are what we call "samalamig" with sago and gulaman. P20.00 is our budget for these foods and by that money we can be fulled. We only eat on the streets and we don't care how we look and what other people will say. yes you are in an elegant place but did you liked the food?, the fact that it is expensive it also didn't satisfy your taste. Be practical. In this kind of situation you should always think other things that everyone will liked and enjoyed for. There is nothing wrong eating these foods, what is good about it is that it is keeping us together. Try it before you react, who should know, in time it can also be your barkada trip.
